Speechless

First of all let me say, these photos are not mine. They came directly from the Huffington Post and Facebook. These pictures are disturbing.

I am totally speechless and blown away by these images. I honestly have nothing to say.

  1. It's a tragedy. Disaster due to man's greed. How much more man will destroy nature in the name of advancement and development???

  2. It's a very interesting collection Kelly that tells the story of these poor animals. There is no need of words, because a picture is worth than thousand words. Thanks for sharing.

Very sad and disturbing. Heart-wrenching and leaving me in disbelieve that this can not have been prevented. Can't they finally plug the hole????

  4. Hi,
Thanks for the nice comments on my blog. I thought that I would read part of yours this morning. These pictures are heart wrenching. I have followed this disaster on TV and when they showed the wildlife being destroyed....I cried.Later in the day they showed a toddler, playing on the beach, picking up one of those oil globs. What are we doing to our natural world? When will we wake up? Balisha

  5. My heart aches for all the wildlife that are suffering and dying and all the people affected by the oil spill. These pictures brought tears. I wish I could go save them all, poor things they have done nothing wrong yet they are suffering so. Just way too sad.

Why do some not see that we in America need to make changes...when the wildlife is being harmed and destroyed we are harming and destroying mankind.

Oh, how I pray they get that mess cleaned up before they are all gone.

  7. Ugh, um, thanks, Kelly. My gut wants to retch every time I see these images. I've had a blog post in edit, but haven't had the heart to post it. This whole thing is incredibly sad and there's a part of me that just wants to look away. I feel totally helpless to do anything. The worst thing is that I'm starting to realize that all the experts don't know what to do either.

Sometimes, when a bird cries out, or the wind sweeps through a tree, or a dog howls in a far off farm, I hold still and listen a long time.

We live in all things, and all things live in us.
